The pathologist plays a very important role in the management of men with prostate
cancer. We provide important prognostic information to the treating physician
that helps determine the most effective therapies for their patients. Pacific
Rim Pathology provides standardized synoptic reports that are easily interpretable
by both physicians and patients alike. We utilize comprehensive prostate cancer
mapping for our physicians. Please review our standardized prostate cancer report.
Pacific Rim Pathology will soon perform PCA3 testing to detect early prostate
cancer when the PSA is between 2.5 and 10 ng/mL and the prostate biopsies are
negative.
We provide second opinions for patients seeking reassurance that indeed they
have all the information necessary to make an informed treatment decision.
