About Us
Pacific Rim Pathology is a pathology laboratory located
in San Diego, CA. We provide anatomic, clinical, and administrative services
to hospitals, multi-specialty clinics, physician offices and clinical
reference laboratories. Our specialty-trained pathologists are committed
to providing our patients with the best and newest technology, as well
as extensive medical expertise.
Additionally, our laboratory is actively involved in clinical and basic
research, continuing medical education of our pathology colleagues, and
patient education.
Our Mission
Our mission is fulfilled by providing a reliable, accurate and prompt interpretation of outpatient biopsies. We are committed to providing our referring physicians with timely pathology reports. Anatomic pathology results are available within 48 hours and delivered to the physician's office within 72 hours. Our pathologists pride themselves on a standardized reporting system that includes diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic parameters. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is our policy to personally telephone all cancer diagnoses (except skin cancers) to referring physicians. All unusual and unexpected anatomic pathology findings are discussed with our physician clients.
